Downtown City Adventure

Baltimore is perfect for your downtown city adventure on your Maryland road trip because there are flights and hotel deals readily available at amazing deals.  Most tourists in this nearby area would prefer to check out Washington DC and as a result you can save lots of money by hanging out in Baltimore.  Here are some great places to check out while you are in the city:

  • Inner Harbor is the most photographed area in the city and is right on the water.

  • Maryland Science Center offers lots of great hands on activities for the entire family.

  • Baltimore Aquarium is a perfect way to check out some amazing marine life.

  • World Trade Center is a 5-sided building that is 32 stories tall built right along the water.

  • Fort McHenry is a perfect place to learn about our American history.

  • Power Plant Live! is the happening entertainment district in the city and is only a couple blocks from the Inner Harbor.

National Parks are spread out all over the state of Maryland and will allow you an enormous amount of flexibility while planning your vacation.  Escaping Baltimore or Washington DC and enjoying a leisurely walk through the woods or a camping excursion is something you can do almost every weekend if you truly wanted.

Horse Racing
